Saturday's Gala Dinner - Featured Wines

Owen Roe O'Neill was a Seventeenth century Irish Patriot who dedicated his life to upholding the highest principles of political equality and freedom. His commitment to great things makes him an ideal model for us, for we share his dedication to principle in our work to produce our wines.
We believe that great wine is fundamentally tied to fabulous fruit. So spending time in the vineyard with careful attention to soil, weather conditions and plant physiology is some of the most important 'winemaking' work we do. This allows us to harvest fruit at it's delicate peak of aromatic development, while maintaining our characteristic balanced pH and high acidity. Once in the winery, only minimal and traditional handling practices are employed to gently coax the most authentic expressions of each varietal.
We seek small vineyard sites with soil types and elevations to produce fruit that best expresses the true characteristics of each varietal we harvest. Our sites are spread throughout the Pacific Northwest and as far south as the Santa Maria Valley, each tendered by true craftsmen of the viticultural trade.
At Owen Roe we do not compromise: only the best is good enough.
